Frequently Asked Questions

Can children, seniors or people with disabilities participate in a safari?

Classic safaris, with an expert local guide, in a 4WD vehicle, are the safest and most comfortable way to experience this adventure. They are ideal for those who want to enjoy and rest without physical demands, whether they are honeymooners, families with children, large groups, seniors, or people with disabilities.

Some of them require participants to be over 15 years of age and have an average level of fitness to be able to perform activities that require moderate effort.

What is the best time of the year to go on safari?

Africa and all its countries are destinations you can visit all year round. There is no specific time of the year to go on safari. The question is rather where and when to go. This is why we offer personalized advice so that you have the best possible experience.

In general, there is a Dry Season (Winter, from May to October) and a Green or Rainy Season (Summer, from November to April). The main differences are the colors of the landscapes, since during the dry season the grasses dry up and many deciduous species lose their foliage, as well as the temperatures and rainfall. During the green season, temperatures are higher, and scattered storms brew and provide an incomparable natural spectacle.

How long is a safari?

How many days a safari should last is a matter of how much time you have to travel and your preference for nature-related activities. Even so, we do not recommend a safari for less than 4 days, otherwise the probability of having the best experience in terms of species and wildlife sightings decreases considerably.

According to our vast experience in safaris of all types, a 6-to-7-day safari is ideal for the typical traveler, and we recommend, as a general rule, to stay 3 nights in each park or reserve.

Will I be able to see the animals I want?

The natural safari experiences focus on the different species of animals and their ecological relationship with the environment they live in. When you go on an Africa safari, depending on the destination you visit, you will have the opportunity to see a large number of birds and mammals, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, lions, various kinds of antelopes, wild boars, and most probably leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, as well as rhinoceroses.

Even so, nature is unpredictable and therefore sightings of specific species cannot be guaranteed.
